As of 2025, my favorite country I’ve visited so far has to be Japan. I went earlier this year during cherry blossom season, and it completely blew me away. The contrast between hyper-modern cities like Tokyo and the serene, historical beauty of Kyoto is surreal. Every corner feels like a blend of tradition and innovation—robot cafes one day, tranquil temples the next.
The hospitality was on another level, and the food? Absolutely unmatched. I still daydream about sushi breakfasts at Tsukiji Market and cozy ramen shops hidden in narrow alleys. What really sealed it for me was the efficiency—bullet trains that are actually on time, spotless cities, and the general respect everyone has for each other and the environment.
Also, 2025 has seen Japan really embracing sustainable tourism, and it felt good knowing my trip supported eco-friendly initiatives. Can’t wait to go back for the snow festivals in Hokkaido next winter.
